Jesus asked His disciples, “who do you say I am?” He didn’t ask them who they thought he was. “Mrk 8:29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.” He asked what they were saying about Him. I find the question interesting because they had been following Him for a while now. If you talk to people long enough you’ll get many different answers. Why is it important?

Our lives are like a living book. Our story, good and bad is a testimony to Gods goodness or forgiveness. “2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 2Co 3:3  Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”

God Himself is proven or disproven to the lost through our successes and struggles. Those we love and our enemies watch our lives and either believe God or dismiss Him! Our choices, attitudes and the way we deal with disappointments either builds faith in others or it breeds doubt.

This will be a series of posts on the subject of Introducing Jesus. We are His Representatives, even in the storm, and how we conduct ourselves can be a soul winning power we didn’t know we had.

I know, I have slipped, fallen and fought through many struggles. There were times, I felt I had to claw my way back up. The enemy comes to steal kill and destroy, anything that kills your peace, steals your hope or destroys your fellowship is Satan and not Jesus. My story reminds me of Mary Magdalene, whose life was shaky to say the least, until Jesus entered her story. Her life was so drastically changed that she got a write-up in the bestselling book of the ages. Like Mary, our lives are introducing Jesus to others. I can see Him clearly through her story. People get to see His mercy, love and yes, sometimes discipline through our journey! The greatest revelation through this study is the understanding that God can even get the glory out of our failures if we repent, dust ourselves off and keep walking. Our walk introduces Jesus to those who don’t know Him better than most sermons.
