The Lord is building a family. He calls us children and encourages us to pray, Our Father. The Lord wants us to be like grown up sons and daughters, disagree yes, but fight anyone- “Satan” who tries to hurt our family. The church assembly should be like homecoming. Id hug my sister no matter what she’s wearing. There will not be any stepchildren at Gods table. Everyone there will be family! Our goal as Gods Children is to invite whoever will to accept Gods offer to adopt them. Luk 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
Is it like this?
Ive been told to never criticize the church. I don’t. The church is not a brick-and-mortar building people attend two or three times a week. The church is not the “that’s my seat” crowd” or the “do you see what she’s wearing group!”
The church is not involved in competition for offices, or good favor. The church doesn’t backbite their competition to gain favor, but they pray for one another for Gods choice. The church doesn’t choose office holders based on the size of their tithe and offerings.
For generations people have been taught what to wear, and where to go. They copied the Big Bible and Cross necklace attire, and sadly the gossip! The voices saying, she’s a druggie and half the assembly is taking nerve pills, diet pills or muscle relaxants. People who once came to the altar to receive Jesus were trained up to act just like their mentors who judge everyone! People were encouraged to take medications for weight loss rather than self-sacrificing, take nerve pills, pain pills and any other drug to help you deal with life, as if Jesus is not a miracle working Saviour today.
God forbid a person come in for prayer for Pot – then the great swelling words of condemnation come out.
Jas 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
Jas 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
Jas 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
Jas 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
Jas 3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
Jas 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Jas 3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
Jas 3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
The church does not hold grudges and speak hate and jealousy
Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Mat 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
The church does not reject someone because they do not go to their Church building
Mrk 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
Mrk 9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
Mrk 9:40 For he that is not against us is on our part.
The church does not Judge others because God will judge us with the same rules we judge each other. If I judge, I’ll be judged, if I condemn, I’ll be condemned and if I forgive Ill be forgiven.
Luk 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
How can we know who the church is? No, not where it is but who it is? Jesus was clear! Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Mat 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
hn 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
